Santa Catarina, Brazil, August 2026. Blue Nautical Hub Brasil has announced its 2027 edition, set for 26 to 30 April, and opened pre-registration for companies interested in exhibiting and for professional visitors. The main development this year is the B2B professional trade fair for technology, products, components and services of the Ocean Economy, which now takes centre stage in the programme.

Pre-registration is available on the official website, in four languages, and gives priority access to commercial terms, the full programme and the opening of accreditation.

Not a boat show

Blue Nautical Hub Brasil does not exhibit boats. It is a professional business environment with qualified accreditation, aimed at those who decide, buy and specify technology: technical buyers, shipyards, marinas, distributors, importers, public managers, investors and industry bodies. The concept follows the logic of the world’s benchmark B2B fairs, such as SEAQUIP, SEATEC and SEAFUTURE.

Five days, four fronts

The programme opens on 26 and 27 April with technical visits, taking entrepreneurs and buyers inside shipyards, marinas and benchmark industries in the state. Places are limited.

On 28 April, from 1 pm to 10 pm, the official opening of Blue Nautical Hub Brasil takes place, with the fair open to accredited companies and buyers.

On 29 April, from 9 am to 7 pm, the fair opens to the public and to companies in general, and the same day hosts the IV International Blue Economy Symposium, with experts, entrepreneurs, researchers and authorities from Brazil and abroad.

On 30 April, from 9 am to 7 pm, the fair remains open and hosts the International B2B Meeting, with a curated agenda of meetings between buyers, suppliers, distributors and partners.

What will be exhibited

The exhibition area covers ten areas: technology and innovation; engines, propulsion and energy; electronics, technology and software; accessories, deck and equipment; fishing and aquaculture; maritime defence and security; marinas and infrastructure; services, business and training; sustainability and blue economy; and seafood gastronomy and nautical tourism.

The fair will also feature curated spaces: the Green-Blue Innovation Hub, the Startup Arena, the Sustainability Seal and Award, the Content Arena, the International and Delegations Space and the B2B Business Lounge, which brings the business rounds into the fair floor itself.

Santa Catarina, Brazil’s largest nautical cluster

According to industry data compiled by ACATMAR, the Brazilian Nautical Association, Santa Catarina’s Ocean Economy employs around 240,000 formal workers, gathers more than 23,000 active establishments and moves approximately BRL 1.15 billion in monthly payroll. The state concentrates the country’s largest nautical industry and a complete supply chain, with world-class shipyards, marinas, suppliers, fishing, mariculture and services.

What the 2026 edition delivered

In the previous edition, Blue Nautical Hub Brasil gathered around 400 companies and representatives from Brazil and abroad, including delegations from Spain and Portugal. The business rounds connected 70 companies in 171 meetings, generating more than BRL 20 million in business started or prospected. The week included technical visits, the III International Blue Economy Symposium, a business meeting aboard a catamaran on the Florianópolis waterfront, the institutional meeting with the Ocean Economy Parliamentary Front and the programme of the Cofradía Europea de la Vela.

Internationalisation

The 2027 edition expands the international front, with a dedicated space for foreign delegations and exhibitors and a bilateral B2B agenda. The organisation is in talks with bodies and companies in Europe and the Americas to broaden international participation.

Pre-registration open

Companies interested in exhibiting, professional visitors, press and potential partners can now register on the official website, bluenauticalhubbrasil.com, available in Portuguese, English, Italian and Spanish. Registration carries no commitment and secures priority access to commercial terms and the programme.
